Melanie was an integral member of the acquisition accounting group of the largest oil and gas company in the U.S. Here she handled the settlement of oil and gas interests valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition, Melanie is a former portfolio manager responsible for managing over $500,000,000 in assets. Methodically analyzing the financial performance of hundreds of companies provided her with an in-depth knowledge of how successful businesses operate. Melanie founded Pace & Associates CPAs knowing that her experience would allow her to guide individuals to a prosperous future.
John F. Pace, CPA, is highly regarded in the tax profession. With over 40 years of experience, he has been a teacher and speaker at multiple tax seminars. He is also a reviewer of published books for accuracy regarding tax law research. John was Vice President and Trust Officer for what is now U.S. Trust, responsible for trust and estate administration. At U.S. Trust, he oversaw a tax group that prepared thousands of fiduciary, individual, and estate tax returns. John was a family office executive for a Forbes 400 family, where he was responsible for the tax planning and oversight of commercial properties, family trusts, and private foundations. Prior to becoming Tax Manager for Pace & Associates CPAs, John was a Senior Manager for the 38th largest CPA firm in America. John is a CPA whose vast experience has allowed him to become a trusted advisor to all clients he serves at Pace & Associates CPAs.
